Two properties by 23: Moses Villani’s first year
Moses bought houses in Wodonga and Townsville in 2025, building a portfolio beyond $1 million while keeping his future living arrangements flexible.

news.com.au featured InvestorKit client Moses Villani on 22 January 2026. At 23, the NDIS service manager and support worker had bought two standalone houses with a combined purchase price above $1 million.
Looking beyond his local market
Moses saved through several jobs, from working in a butcher shop and delivering food to disability support work. He also spent time learning through podcasts and research before engaging InvestorKit to help assess regional opportunities.
His first purchase was a house in Wodonga, Victoria, for $485,000 in June 2025. The second was in Townsville, Queensland, for $565,000 later that year. He told the publication that standalone houses and a long-term approach were priorities; the Wodonga property also offered potential for subdivision in future.
Separating where to live from where to invest
At publication, Moses was living with his parents in Doncaster and did not yet know where he wanted to settle. Investing interstate allowed him to begin building assets without committing his future home location to those purchase decisions.
The article also discusses his ambition to grow an NDIS business. Our accompanying client interview adds his own account of the research and choices behind the two purchases.
