We buy established investment houses and check each one against your plan. Newcastle has different housing stock around its centre, established suburbs and newer areas. We compare a candidate property's local supply, rent evidence, condition and resale options with your brief.
850+ five-star Google reviews. REB Buyer's Agency of the Year, winner 2023, 2024 and 2026.
Backed by nearly $1M in annual research and one of Australia’s largest property acquisition teams.
What we examine
How does this house compare with nearby homes serving the same buyers and tenants?
An employment or renewal project does not automatically improve an individual purchase. We test the specific Newcastle asset against recent comparable sales and likely holding costs.

Newcastle’s land history can be relevant even when a house looks ordinary. City of Newcastle provides guidance on past land use. We reviewed it in September 2026. The source explains when soil or water checks may be needed. This means checking for harmful material in soil or groundwater. We would read the planning details and ask whether further reports exist for the address. An old industrial use nearby does not establish that a home is affected. It gives us a site question to investigate. Records and expert advice should answer it. We would not assume the whole area has one risk.
The distinction between a finished home and a future building plan is useful here. Does the plan involve digging, extending or changing use? We would ask about the reports needed for that work. Costs for specialist advice belong beside ordinary repair estimates. For a rental as it stands, we would check the home’s condition, parking and the trip to work. We would also seek lease examples from similar houses. A renewal story can explain interest in a place. But it does not show what the buyer must fund on one block.
Our Newcastle chart article was published in June 2024. It uses research from that period to explore jobs, migration and housing. It discusses the city within the wider Hunter setting. We would keep the study’s area covered clear when choosing home comparisons. A home marketed with a Newcastle label may need evidence from a different local catchment or council. The next review would update the leases and sales nearest to the home being checked. Land history would be one part of that file. Building and holding costs belong there too. The result should explain the home being considered.

Well thought out, data driven strategy that made my life a whole lot easier. As someone that works in professionals services myself, I know how hard it can be to deliver based on client expectations.
I was kept well informed at every stage, yet felt like I didn’t have to lift a finger. They really make the process easy, especially when you don’t have many free hours to manage it yourself.
