Commercial property: Typical budgets start from $2m, and can go up to $10m+ depending on your goals. It’s best to have a strong idea of your budget and how much you have access to for a deposit prior to getting started. You don’t need pre-approval to get started, and many investors kick things off without one, but it’s worth checking in with your broker first to give you the green light. Keep in mind, pre-approvals are time-limited and aren’t set in stone until you’re formally approved with a specific property that the bank is happy to lend against. If you’ve got a strong borrowing capacity, you can sort out pre-approval while going through our process.
