About the role:
As a Portfolio Strategist, you will be at the forefront of conducting comprehensive portfolio mapping sessions with our valued investors. Your role involves delving into the intricacies of their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences, ensuring a deep understanding that forms the foundation for tailored investment strategies. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing continuous strategy support, empowering clients to scale their portfolios and realise their financial potential.You will serve as a trusted guide throughout the investment process, offering expert support and insights that navigate clients towards informed and successful investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Mapping Sessions:
- Conduct comprehensive portfolio mapping sessions with investors to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Work closely with brokers and the acquisitions division to create buyer briefs and provide support throughout the investment process.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Reconnect with clients at various stages of their investment journey.
- Provide ongoing strategy support to help clients scale their portfolio and achieve their financial objectives.
- Guide clients through the investment process, offering expert support and insights.
- Business Development:
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and client portfolio expansion to meet their growth.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records using our CRM system.
- Demonstrate a high level of organisational skills to manage client information effectively.
Key Performance Indicators:
Quantitative:
- Target: Meet individual monthly minimum sign up targets.
- Portfolio Accuracy and management: Update and maintain accurate portfolio plans for all assigned clients.
- CRM management: Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM with all client data maintained, tasks set and notes recorded.
Qualitative:
- Consult mastery: Consistently demonstrate a high level of rapport building, clear communication principles and a solution focussed approach to portfolio mapping.
- Client Management: Proactively work with the wider Acquisitions, Strategy and Client Success team to ensure clients needs are met and that each milestone is successfully completed.
- Buyers experience: Proactively work with clients to alleviate concerns and prevent property rejections.
- Industry and brand knowledge: Demonstrate and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, InvestorKit value propositions, case studies, research and processes.
- Training & Development: Attend all training, coaching and other professional development sessions provided by your leadership team and InvestorKit
TARGETS
Targets are set annually for the Strategy team and evenly distributed across the financial year. Monthly targets may be subject to change depending on team performance in accordance with the required monthly run rate to achieve annual targets.
Sign ups are defined as:
- Repeat purchases; you encouraged a client to purchase another property with us
- Upsell; you moved a client onto a full purchase during a strategy only session
- Add on; you sold on another service offering (research only, commercial etc.)
